Heather Bartlett is the author of the poetry chapbook Bleeding Yellow Light (From Yes Press). Her work can be found in print and online in journals such as Barrow Street, Carolina Quarterly, Connotation Press, Lambda Literary, the Los Angeles Review, Ninth Letter, Redivider, Quarterly West, and others. She is an Instructor in English and Creative Writing at the State University of New York College at Cortland.

Keaona is a professional writing major at SUNY Cortland. Their work is published in the Crystallize Review, and they are set to release their first self-published book. They are passionate about writing both poetry and fiction. They are captivated by work that instills purpose, creativity, and explores non-conforming ideas.

Lucy is a Professional Writing major at SUNY Cortland. She is an avid reader and writer who is drawn to meaningful and emotional writing. Lucy mainly writes poetry, but enjoys reading all genres.
Alexa Lutter (She/Her)

Alexa is a professional writing major at SUNY Cortland as well as an aspiring poet. She uses writing as a way to express her emotions as well as highlighting social injustices. Alexa hopes one day to reach a larger audience to move with her writing. She is currently working on her own collection of poems entitled, Heart-Patched Poetry.

Gianno is an avid reader and writer of poetry, with a background in Romantic Era poetry. He is from rural New York, and when he isn’t reading/writing he can be found in the wilderness, or a wrestling mat.

Aliza is a Professional Writing major at SUNY Cortland, having previously graduated from Tompkins-Cortland Community College with a degree in Creative Writing. Her past writing experiences include publishing works in Xanadu, as well as miscellaneous manuscript reviews. She currently resides in Ithaca, New York.
Emily Davella (She/Her)

Emily is a Communications major with an English Literature and Writing minor. Her passion for writing and love for reading began in second grade after her teacher read the book, The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane. It has continued ever since.
Molly Donovan (She/Her)

Molly is a senior English and Professional Writing major at SUNY Cortland and intern at the Cortland Writing Center. She enjoys writing fiction of a variety of sub-genres, with a special attention to queer topics.
Tristan Stevens (He/Him)

Tristan is a Professional Writing major at SUNY Cortland with a deep love for the English language. He has a particular affinity for speculative and genre fiction, and the interesting characters and world-building inherent to them.

Najah Acosta (She/Her)

Najah is a senior at SUNY Cortland. She is majoring in Political Science with a minor in Professional Writing. She loves writing and seeing a character develop through a story. Poetry is a passion of hers, especially when it evokes intense emotions. She is constantly working on her craft as a writer through various internships and clubs at SUNY Cortland.

Olivia Drennan is a junior at SUNY Cortland, studying Inclusive Childhood Education with a concentration in English. She enjoys writing creative fiction and poetry.
Karly James (She/Her)

As a kid, Karly loved writing poetry and listening to music. She would write one poem everyday and journal three times a week. Now she finds inspiration for her writing through the things she experiences, and the experiences of others. As an editor, she appreciates the challenge that comes with editing and enjoys being exposed to the wide range of perspectives from fellow writers and scholars.
Kimberly Welch (She/Her)

Kimberly is a writer, editor, and painter from Lafayette, New York. She enjoys all art that has a good grip—art that bites, sinks its teeth into you, and doesn’t let go. Kimberly has an associate degree in Humanities from Tompkins Cortland Community College, and she is currently pursuing a BA in Professional Writing from the State University of New York in Cortland.
