Eat That Sleep
.

girl,     if you don’t eat that sleep for dinner
the sunshine gonna come.       for you
it’ll catch you               hungry for attention

elvis lies     i can hear it in         his voice
he don’t want you     that man’s fucking around

suck his nectar off.      leave his nasty ass
nourish your unbalanced gut blame true       tears on the season

pollen on your eyelash,       eye water       sleep water
salt is also a nutrient you need       to stay alive

girl,   season deceitful men      and flay them
spatchcocked and golden

when the sun comes out        you’ll feel less hungry
than the night before
