Szilvia Kadas is an assistant professor of graphic design and digital media at the State University of New York, Cortland. Kadas’s research explores the concept of socially and environmentally conscious graphic design and the ethical ramifications of visual culture. Kadas obtained her Ph.D. in human and community development focusing on sustainability in graphic design at the School of Design and Community Development at West Virginia University and earned her MFA in graphic design from the University of Arkansas. In addition, Kadas received her MA in art history from West Virginia University.
