Jennifer Lothrigel
It only takes one
thread that never ends to
weave a broken
heart back together.
Hallelujah
From now on I will
only wear a red silk dress
to dinner.
Venus told me the point is
to wear nothing underneath
so the orange sun
can slip down the center
of my body
beyond night
towards undiscovered stars,
morphing into infinite
forms
then back again
to rise in my throat.
Hallelujah
I rise
wavy like a desert morning,
the unending thread
that keeps coming back to you.
